Dr. Chiara Mingrone

Dr. Chiara Mingrone is a Certified Linari Medical Therapist, qualified to administer AvDesk therapies in children and adults with visual field disorders.

Dr. Mingrone, an orthoptist and assistant professor in ophthalmology, graduated with an honors degree from the University of Rome “La Sapienza.” As an orthoptist she is involved in pediatric and adult orthoptic evaluation and rehabilitation, low vision, assistance in ophthalmology, and works in multidisciplinary teams also taking an interest in visual-perceptual and visual-motor impairments associated with learning disorders.

Registered with the SMO association (Mediterranean Society of Orthoptics ) as treasurer , she works in Rome in several private practices.

Thanks to her Linari Medical qualification, Dr. Mingrone offers the ability to follow patients in the clinic and remotely at their homes.
