At the Visual Disabilities Rehabilitation Center of the David Chiossone Foundation in Genoa, Italy, work Linari Medical Doctors and Licensed Therapists who are able to administer AvDesk therapies to children and adults with visual field disorders.

The center supports adults, the elderly, youth, and children who are blind and visually impaired, including those with multiple disabilities, and their families, in a health and social integrated manner, providing specialized rehabilitation services to facilitate the path to independence and integration.

This is followed by the drafting of an individual plan and the assignment of the patient to a specific group of specialists in the various disciplines (orientation and mobility rehabilitator, computer rehabilitator, psychologist, typhlologist, orthoptist, psychomotricist, speech therapist, etc.) to follow the patient’s path to acquire (or re-acquire) the autonomies impaired by the visual problem.

Having now become a benchmark in the Ligurian area for the quality of services offered, The David Chiossone Foundation accompanies patients on their journey to look beyond visual impairment.
